nude is not a color

Nude Is Not A Color is a project that seeks to challenge the collective preconceptions of contemporary society. The work, crafted from silicone and measuring 18.5×14 cm, hyper-realistically reproduces a detail of a person’s body with Caucasian skin. The viewer is confronted with the provocation between the common definition of the color “nude” and its physical representation—highlighting that the term typically refers to a European light skin tone. The depiction of the skin becomes a battleground, where societal conflicts and silent battles are still waged today, often subtly expressed through language.
