Peace Always Has a Chance is a site-specific installation created for the Loggia dei Cavalieri in Treviso within 4Passi Festival 2025 – Tessere Pace. The work transforms the historic space through large translucent drapes made from regenerated plastic materials, with over 250 kg of recovered methacrylate interacting with light, color, and architecture.

Rejecting celebratory rhetoric, the installation presents peace as a fragile, everyday practice, built through small acts of care and responsibility. Visitors are invited to slow down, move through the space, and experience a moment of reflection and perception.

At the heart of the project is a strong participatory process involving more than 160 secondary school students from Treviso. Their voices form a collective urban poem, developed through the workshop “Non ho niente da mettermi”, and a Bandiera della Pace created from donated T-shirts, emphasizing peace as a shared, continuously constructed gesture.

Curated by Alisia Viola and supported by Cooperativa Pace e Sviluppo, the project is produced within 4Passi Festival 2025, directed by Valentina Tomio, in collaboration with I.I.S. Besta, I.T.S. Riccati-Luzzatti, and S.F.P. Turazza. Materials were donated by Plastidite, Poliplex, Vesta Home, and Infiniti Design.

The installation was on view at the Loggia dei Cavalieri from 18 to 23 November 2025, accompanied by site-specific student performances and a guided visit with the artist and curator.
